Park Updates & Fee Information

Important information about park fees, operations, and what’s changing.

We understand there has been confusion and frustration about park fees and recent operational changes. We want to provide clear, direct information about how the park is operating, how fees are being collected, and what visitors can expect as we work through this transition.

THERE ARE NO NEW FEES

Day-use and boat ramp fees have been in place under U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. These fees were previously collected on an honor system and are now being applied more consistently.

This allow us to support park operations, maintenance, and improvements moving forward.

Consistent fee collection helps ensure the park remains well-maintained and available to the public.

Our goal is to keep the park clean, safe, and accessible for everyone.

What’s Changing

As we transition operations, a few things are changing to ensure the park is run consistently and sustainably:

  • Consistent Fee Collection

Day-use and boat ramp fees are now being collected consistently rather than relying on the honor system.

  • Staffed Presence

Staff may be present at the gate and throughout the park to assist visitors and ensure smooth operations.

  • Clear Payment Options

Visitors can pay at the gate when staffed with cash, card, or tap. Or by using the QR codes with signage visible throughout the park.

  • Improved Operations & Maintenance

Consistent fee collection allows for better upkeep, cleanliness, and overall park experience.
